PRESS REVIEW

„It gets harder and harder to find large sites to locate businesses with a need for vast land requirements“, says Martin Tönnes, division planning manager for the RVR. „gate.ruhr, or rather AV 3/7, is virtually predestined to be developed as a regionally significant business location."

Marl Erleben 04/17, „Regionally outstanding"

„The ‚gate to the future‘ opens up in glorious sunshine: The temperatures are well into the 20s when approximately 60 visitors are walking past the gatekeeper’s house of the former coal mine Auguste Victoria 3/7. The RAG Montan Immobilien and Marl’s city council invited the public to explore site which is not usually accessible to everybody, to inform people about the plans for the 90-hectare area.

Marl Erleben 03/17, "gate.ruhr: With giant steps into the future"

„Engines, gear boxes, ventilators, conveyor belts: hundreds of metres under the earth’s surface the pitmen did a spectacular engineering job in the Auguste Victoria 3/7 coal mine. In a future not too far away it can be a similarly impressive place again, but above ground. There are plans to level the former power station area and the stuck pile behind it at the same height.“

Marl Erleben 02/17, „XXL-reboot after the last shift"

„Until 2020, only five years after the end of the stone coal mining, the city of Marl and the RAG Montan Immobilien GmbH want to breathe new life into the attractive site - and create up to 1,000 new jobs there. gate.ruhr is considered to be the gate to the Ruhr valley and the future..“
